When Daily Life Takes Extra Effort
ADHD therapy can focus on the parts of daily life that feel hardest to manage: starting tasks, keeping track of time, organizing a week or following through on plans. You can bring attention and executive-function struggles to therapy even if you are unsure how to describe them. We start with what is getting in your way and what matters to you.
Room for the Emotional Side
Our work makes room for frustration, shame and the relationship strain that can build around missed deadlines, forgotten plans or strong emotions. ADHD may also sit alongside anxiety, depression or substance use. Therapy can address these concerns together, with attention to your strengths, relationships and the demands of your daily life.
Practical Skills, Built Around You
Therapy is practical, skills-based and strengths-based. With your clinician, you can work on breaking tasks into manageable steps, planning realistic routines, noticing emotional cues and communicating what you need. We draw on approaches such as CBT and DBT skills and adjust the work around what you find useful.
