Clinical Approach

A strengths-based approach to lasting change

Chandni believes her clients are the experts of their own lives. Her role is to create a space grounded in safety, respect, and curiosity — where you can explore the patterns that keep showing up, build emotional regulation skills, and move toward meaningful growth. Her early work as an EMT shaped a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and a commitment to treating emotional pain with the same urgency as physical crisis. In therapy, she draws from evidence-based modalities tailored to your goals, whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, life transitions, or relational conflict.

Specializations

Chandni works with adults and couples across a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges. Her clinical expertise spans co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, and step-down care for clients transitioning from higher levels of treatment. She also works regularly with professionals in demanding corporate environments navigating organizational power dynamics, career identity shifts, and relational strain.

Couples Therapy

Chandni offers virtual couples therapy across New Jersey — working with partners navigating conflict cycles, communication breakdown, trust ruptures, life transitions, and the relational strains that often accompany individual mental health or addiction challenges.

Teaching

Training the next generation of clinicians

Beyond her clinical practice, Chandni is deeply invested in the development of early-career clinicians. As a Field Liaison for the MSW program at Rutgers University, she mentors graduate students during their field training — conducting site visits, monitoring progress, and supporting practicum instructors. Her years as a Clinical Supervisor and Program Coordinator gave her direct experience training interns and new staff in clinical assessment, group facilitation, individual therapy, and discharge planning across multiple levels of care.
